Unless otherwise noted by a player their characters are all residents of Patriot Springs, so they are familiar with their surroundings.  Lucky's is lively and full of patrons coming and going, everyone talking about the recent news of monsters invading Patriot Springs, trying to understand what the heck is going on.  The bar is owned and operated by "Lucky", a large happy man with a full grey beard and tattoos up and down his arms. Random Puzzle

  Before finally meeting the monster face to face, roll on the Random Puzzles table. This will slow the players down and force them to work together as a team. Be advised, sometimes players can get lost in either the complexity or the simplicity of a puzzle. If your players linger here too long and it looks like they won't solve the puzzle, have them make an Intellect check and then offer them the solution without actually giving it away.  A room with the doors closing on either end. The door on the far side, towards their destination, has a panel with a button and a display. The display has a timer for 30 seconds, and everytime the button is pressed, the timer resets and two monsters fall from the ceiling to attack. When the timer hits zero, the doors open. The party enters a room with a stone wall and a locked door. Welcome to Patriot Springs

The city of Patriot Springs (specifically Arlington County) is a curious place where all are welcome. Really. There are story elements of traditional fantasy, science-fiction, horror, and just about everything else you could want in a Role Playing Game. Except magic. Did we not mention that? Yeah, there's no magic in this game. And no Bavarian Polka. We're looking at you, Weird Al. Oh, but wait. How cool would it be if Weird Al hosted an RPG game night as the Game Master?  Anyway!
