Random Zombie

The overall story arc throughout this game concerns the spread of the Phaegus Virus and zombies. During your game sessions the GM will throw any number of Phaegus Zombies at you. Alternatively, the GM may have you roll on the Random Monster table below and see how you manage with a little variety.  Single Zombie Injury: 1 CP: 5 EP: 20 Special Phaegus Infection: At the end of each battle with any number of Phaegus Zombies you must roll under your Physicality. If you fail that roll you are infected. But as an experienced monster hunter you know that heat will draw the infection out. You must take 1 point of Injury while applying the heat to draw the infection out. The GM has no responsibility to remind you of this danger. If you do not act immediately after a battle you will remain infected. The moment you go to sleep you will die and become a monster.   At last! Your players have earned the right to face the monster. However, do your research. Many monsters have "Special" attacks and/or actions you will need to know before the big battle. No monster is going to let itself be killed without doing everything it can to kill your players or escape. The fight should be challenging but fair.

Levels: 1-3 Objective: Rescue the mayor's daughter Location: Queen Hippolyta's Palace Time Limit: Before morning Villain: Queen Hippolyta Part 1 Players start by meeting at Lucky's Bar & Grill, a well-known establishment in the heart of Downtown. Unless otherwise noted by a player their characters are all residents of Patriot Springs, so they are familiar with their surroundings.  Lucky's is lively and full of patrons coming and going, everyone talking about the recent news of monsters invading Patriot Springs, trying to understand what the heck is going on.  The bar is owned and operated by "Lucky", a large happy man with a full grey beard and tattoos up and down his arms.
